Our Vision

To be an international centre of education excellence, dedicated to providing our students learning experiences that will enrich them for life.

Our Mission

  • To provide quality education and internationally recognised programmes.
  • To offer a full-fledged world-class campus complete with residential and recreational facilities.
  • To produce employable all-rounded graduates who are professionally competent, and socially confident.

Nilai University’s promise is to take school leavers and mold them into mature young adults who are academically proficient and socially confident. This is achieved through a holistic approach to education, with emphasis on character building courses and industry internship to supplement the academic endeavors.

Students enrolling in Nilai U will need to complete a number of credits in university courses outside of their core subjects. These include courses on Ethics, Anthropology, Public Speaking and even, an Introduction to Theater and Acting.

How it works?

  1. When students go through these extra courses, they mature from young teenagers into responsible young adults who are able to make positive contributions to their respective societies. These courses will also greatly enhance students’ marketability in the job market by equipping them with the necessary soft skills.
  2. This allows Nilai U students to gain up-to-date information on latest industry practices. They will also attend seminars and workshops conducted by these professional organizations. But best of all, students get to network with potential employers as many of them will be members of their respective professional organizations.
  3. Nilai U administrators have also gone to great lengths to get exemptions from professional examinations from various organizations. This will allow for an easier passageway for students to forge careers in the relevant fields.

Programmes combine a strong base of courses in the chosen field of study.

The goal of education is the same as the goal of life – to help students grow into intellectually and emotionally matured individuals. Parents are looking for an institution that can give their child academic excellence and at the same time, want their child to enjoy the learning experience. These two goals need not be achieved at the expense of the other because at Nilai University (Nilai U), learning and joy come together. We call this approach, Enrichment for Life (EFL), a philosophy that has been practised for more than a decade at Nilai University. Every child has his or her own qualities and the objective of EFL is to build on this strength to spur this young adult into an individual who is professionally competent as well as socially confident.
